     The idea to start this course came from Pt. Sanjay Rath, my Jyotish Guru, and tradicional Brahmin from Balabadra Sasin Village of India. He received the knowledge of Jyotish through his family lineage, where it was passed down to family members during the previous 600 years. Pt. Sanjay Rath was the first one to accept students outside his family. I met him in 1997, and have been studying jyotish at his feet ever since. Last year (2006), when Jupiter entered Scorpio Rashi the idea and the time to start this course came up. My Guru decided that the time to sistemize this knowldge and pass the hidden traditional knowledge had come. Ever since, I've been teaching full time at SIVA under his active guidance.
